Receiving

your Amazon inventory at our southern California FBA service  warehouse

STEP 1. YOUR INVENTORY IS SHIPPED TO THE USA

When your supplier/manufacturer confirms that your shipment has been shipped to the USA you receive information about the size of the shipment and the estimated arrival date to the US port. It is important that you receive the packing list and other required documentation needed for the US customs border at the Los Angeles port in Long beach if shipping with sea freight.

STEP 2. CREATE INBOUND TO RSL ORDER

When your shipment is on its way to the LA port you can create an Inbound to River Source Logistics Order in our system containing the following information about your shipment.

  • List the SKUs arriving and the quantity of each SKU
  • Estimated Arrival Date
  • Attach packing list
  • Submit notes to our warehouse about things you would like us to look out for when receiving your shipment

STEP 3. SCHEDULE DELIVERY DATE

Once your shipment had cleared customs at the LA port and your freight forwarders are scheduled to pick up your inventory, you can schedule an arrival date and time for your shipment to be received at River Source Logistics warehouse in Los Angeles. Large shipments must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance of arrival and your freight forwarder can reach out to orders@riversourcelogistics.com to schedule your arriving shipment with RSL

STEP 4. SHIPMENT IS RECEIVED AT OUR WAREHOUSE

When your shipment arrives at our warehouse our team begins unloading and checking the shipment. If your shipment arrives floor loaded in a container, we unload, sort, scan, and palletize your inventory. During receiving we scan your arrived inventory to ensure everything expected to arrive has arrived as well as keep an eye out for any damaged cases or pallets. While your shipment is being unloaded, you can follow your inventory being received live in our system.

STEP 5. INVENTORY STOWED AT OUR WAREHOUSE

After being received, your inventory is stowed in our warehouse and you can request FBA prep services to be performed or request the inventory to be forwarded to an Amazon FBA facility.
