Reboxing inventory for FBA

There may be several reasons to rebox inventory before forwarding it to Amazon FBA. The master carton may be damaged from the shipping process, the master carton may be too large for Amazon’s requirements, or be too heavy for it to be Amazon-compliant.

Cartons sent to Amazon FBA may not exceed 25x25x25 unless the product is an oversized product in which case you may use cartons that fit your product. Cartons sent to Amazon FBA may also not exceed 50 lbs to be fba compliant.

Reboxing your products at River Source Logistics

A lot of reboxing is perform at inbound orders when inventory arrives in damaged cartons but like other fba prep services at River Source Logistics, reboxing can be requested in our customized software and can be ordered on an inbound to RSL, on a service order on stored inventory, or on an outbound to FBA order.

Once our warehouse team receives the request or notices damaged cartons, your inventory can be picked and moved to our fba prep area to be reboxed. The size of the new carton can be selected by yourself or we will select a size that works well for your products and where we can fit the same amount of units as in your master cartons.
